Our next stop after Rio was the colonial fishing village of Paraty, 4 hours by bus and minivan South of Rio. We arrived mid afternoon and had an explore of this quiet little town. Amazingly pretty, set on the coast with islands dotted all over in the bay and a backdrop of jungle covered mountains- an amazing place to spend a few days!
